Elite Level Pure Year of Graduation Teams: Classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022

Elite Level 2018-2022 (Elite programs will now be reduced down to two squads per class.  We will accommodate current players with a third squad (2018, 2019) graduation only for this summer or until they graduate only if they have successfully registered and deposited in September/October.  All players beyond the initial two squads will be waitlisted until a spot becomes open.

Elite status enrollment is offered to current high school juniors, sophomores, freshmen, rising freshmen and rising 8th graders (graduation years 2018-2022). Elite status is best suited for players who intend to play lacrosse at the collegiate level or want to be the best that they can be and are highly committed to gaining exposure by participating in recruiting tournaments. To obtain an Elite status, players must commit to several mandatory tournaments during the Summer & Fall (see 2017 Schedule) and must attend all scheduled Fall/Winter practices and 4 out 6 of the Summer series of practice sessions in the player’s area unless previously excused a minimum of two weeks in advance. In addition, we will impose a penalty of $100 per missed tournament which will be auto drafted.  This does not apply to missed tournaments due to sickness or injury but only with a doctors excuse.

This is a high level of commitment so please check your personal schedule and calendar before selecting this option for enrollment. However, to gain the type of exposure and skills necessary to play in college, the Elite Level of membership is the best option. This program is all inclusive of pre-selected mandatory YOG selected tournaments and the following practice schedule:

  • Summer: 3 sessions consisting of 2 consecutive 2 hour daily practices by site
  • One 8 hour clinic by team with your coach either on a rotating sight basis or on a specific college campus
  • Fall/Winter: 2 sessions per month consisting of 3-4 hour practices based on the tournament schedules. One will be regional and the other will be local unless otherwise specified.
  • One 8 hour clinic by team with your coach either on a rotating sight basis or on a specific college campus
  • Season ends first week in January for Southern Storm and Midwestern Force Lacrosse
  • Practice sites for MFL are in Northeastern Ohio, Central Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio, Kansas City and Michigan. Smaller sites may have a revised practice schedule due to number of participants.
  • Practice sites for Charlotte are either Elon Park, Queens University or Winthrop University
  • Practice sites for Kansas City are St Theresa’s High School unless another site is needed

The Elite squads play by units by YOG and are coached by a college coach who is committed to those specific players and their individual development.
